View 232-236 Blackfriars Road, Bankside. In front of number 232 is a bus stop with several people waiting. The building at 233-234, with an Austin Morris BMC J4 pickup van parked in front, is called Bridge House and is a travel agency operated by the British Commercial Transport Company Limited. A sign above an archway at 234A advertises J.T. Crosse. Number 235, with a Rover P6 parked on the pavement and a truck advertising Blanchards "Quikmix" parked on the road in front, is an ironmongers called Smith & Herbert. A sign above 236-237 advertises Metalworkers and Coppersmiths. All of the buildings have since been demolished and replaced by a commercial office block.
