A wall with railings separates the street from the gardens, which are planted with trees and shrubs. In the distance is the front elevation of Heal's furniture store at 191-199 Tottenham Court Road. Dating from 1914-17, the Heal's building was Grade II* listed in 1974, listing number 1379023. The gardens remain a public open space.
