Description
A view of the front elevations of a terrace of houses at 27-31 Torrington Square, Bloomsbury. The houses have four storeys over a basement and are two windows wide. On the first-floor wall of number 30 is a plaque recording the fact that poet Christina Georgina Rossetti (1830-1894) lived and died there. At far right are buildings of the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London. Parked in the street are cars including a Ford Cortina Mark II with registration number XLM167G and a Morris Minor 1000. Dating from 1821-25, numbers 27-32 Torrington Square were Grade II listed in 1969, listing number 1379012.
