Title
Building in Tuilerie Street
Description
A view of the front elevation of a commercial building at 1 Tuilerie Street, Haggerston. The semi-derelict timber clad building bears the names of three businesses, Atlas Works, G. Wicks & Co, and A & J Vaughan. Some of the cladding is missing and widows to the top storey are broken. A loaded flatbed truck is parked in the vehicle entrance. The road is cobbled. The street name reflects the fact that there was a tile kiln in the street in the past. The street no longer exists and Hackney City Farm stands on the site.
