Description
A view of the front elevations of 189-191 (consecutive) Shoreditch High Street, Shoreditch, with shop fronts including C. Cohen Hatters and S. Hanison, a confectioner advertising Boisseliers chocolate. Products are evident in the windows and lamps hang down. Number 189 is S. White Shoreditch Emporium, advertising fountain pen nibs. Each of the buildings is a different pattern, though each has three storeys above the shop. Originally built in the early eighteenth century, numbers 187-189 (consecutive) were Grade II listed in 1975, listing number 1235320.
