Description
A view of the front elevations of shops with accommodation above at 101-105 (odd) Worship Street, Shoreditch. The edge of number 99 is also visible. Number 101 is later than the other two but similarly has retail space on the ground floor and accommodation above. It has a curious Gothic-looking drinking fountain built into its corner where it meets number 103. It has three storeys above the shop including a dormer at the third floor. Number 103 bears the signage of Aublet Homer (engineering) Ltd and advertises Kuris cutting machines. Number 105 is the Luna Bar cafe and has a motor scooter on the pavement outside as well as some milk crates. It advertises Pepsi. Of these last two, 103 has three storeys above the shop and 105 has two. Two pedestrians are visible, blurred, on the pavement outside number 101. Probably built in the early eighteenth century with early-mid nineteenth century fronts, 103 and 105 Worship Street were Grade II listed in 1975, listing number 1265032. Built in 1862 by Philip Webb, 91-101 (odd) Worship Street were Grade II* listed in 1950, listing number 1235558.
