Title
Vacant site in Dartford Street
Description
View of the vacant site on 4-6 Dartford Street, Southwark, with rubble and a corrugated iron shed.

The space is flanked on the left by number 8, a two-storey brick building with pedimented windows and iron railings with marine motifs.

On the right is number 2, a two-storey brick house. Through the gap, the chimney of a factory and the rear elevations of the properties in Cyril Street can be seen.

Originally called Blucher Street, it appears as early as Greenwood's 1828 map. The buildings no longer exist; the area has since undergone remodelling and renumbering, and the area now hosts newer residences.
