Description
View of Crosslet Street, Southwark, looking towards Mason Street and showing a paved road after rain. It is lined with three-storey houses with bay windows on the left. Moving away from the viewer, the four-storey residential blocks on the right are Stubbs House, Spurgeon House, Havelock House, Palmerston House and Wellington House. A pair of children peer out from the dorway of Havelock House. Children are playing in the streets. Parked Riley. The buildings no longer exist; they have since been demolished and replaced with the gardens of the Mardyke House residential block.
