Description
A view of the front elevations of terraced houses and flats in Cleveland Street, Fitzrovia, at the corner of Maple Street, some with shops on the ground floor. The corner site is 56 Maple Street. Outside it, a letter box stands at the corner. At the left, the railings around basements on the other side of the street are visible. A Wonderloaf van and one other are parked in the street as well as a hand cart and a car. The buildings on the right of Cleveland Street still exist. Dating from the late eighteenth century, number 68 Cleveland Street was Grade II listed in 1974; listing number 1356769. The buildings on the left no longer exist and have been replaced by a residential block.
