Description
A view of the front elevations of terraced houses and flats in Cleveland Street and Maple Street, Fitzrovia, some with shops on the ground floor. The corner site at 56 Maple Street is the Ttokos Kebab House. Outside it, a letter box stands at the corner. Buildings to its right seem to be residential. To the left of the corner plot, the restaurant occupies number 56A Maple Street. After that, 68 Cleveland Street is a store called Freedmans. Cars parked in Cleveland Street include a Rover P6 with registration number HYR59K, a Renault 5 and a Hillman Avenger. Parked in Maple Street to the right is a Triumph Dolomite with registration number LYV535P. Posts line the pavement at the left hand side of Cleveland Street. A one-way sign on a lamp post is visible in the foreground. Dating from the late eighteenth century, number 68 Cleveland Street was Grade II listed in 1974; listing number 1356769.
