Description
A view of the front elevations of Victorian houses at 60-68 (even) Charrington Street, Somers Town. The houses have three storeys above a basement and are two windows wide. The ground and lower ground floors are stucco covered. The basement areas are surrounded by railings and steps lead up to each front door. A juliet balcony runs across the windows of the first floor. Cars parked in the street are from the right are the front end of a Volkswagen Beetle, a Ford Cortina Mark I and a Renault Dauphine. Built c1845, these houses and others in Charrington and neighbouring streets were Grade II listed in 1998; listing number 1242931. They have been renumbered since the photograph was taken.
