Title
Houses in Mornington Crescent
Description
View south-west showing a pair of terraced houses at 8-9 Mornington Crescent, Camden. They were built in 1821-32 by I. Bryant and the terrace was named after the Earl of Mornington, brother of the Duke of Wellington. The houses have three storeys plus attic dormers and basements. Each has a round-arched entrance with Doric columns, panelled doors with fanlights above and a two-window range. Decorative cast-iron balconies can be seen at first-floor level. The houses, together with the attached railings, are Grade II listed; listing number 1113138. The houses appear to be in need of maintenance.
