Description
View by night of Bromley Public Hall at 116 Bow Road, Poplar. Illuminated by spot lights mounted on posts on the pavement, looking south. The mid nineteenth-century building and the railings in front, along with the neighbouring National Provincial Bank building, are separately Grade II listed, listing number numbers 1251500 and 1065277 respectively. Signs in each window identifies the building as 'Bromley rate collections office'. Railing gates barricade the entrance doors. Bromley Public Hall now serves as Tower Hamlets Register Office.
