Description
View onto East India Dock Road, Poplar, looking south from St Leonard's Road. The 'Odeonesque' showrooms and offices on far side to the right at numbers 208 to 212 East India Dock Road were built c1940, demolished c1991 and replaced by the Ashton Street housing development. The Sir John Franklin public house is visible on the right corner at number 279 and the North Thames Gas Board premises at 281. These have been since demolished subsumed by the A13 / A102 Interchange. Pedestrians are visible at the junction along with a bus heading east.
