View of 65-71 Grafton Way (formerly Grafton Street) and the corner of Conway Street, Fitzrovia. 65-71 is a Grade II listed terrace of four houses, listing number 1113072, built late-eighteenth century. The buildings are four-storey with basements and original cast-iron railings which are included in the Grade II listing. The corner building at 15 Conway Street was built 1792 and is also Grade II listed with attached railings and balconies, listing number 1245248. Number 71 appears to be undergoing building work with scaffold to the front elevation. A Ford Transit van is parked on the pavement and a man leans into the open sliding van door to chat. Grafton Way is part of the Fitzroy Square Conservation Area, designated in 1968, and became part of the Bloomsbury Conservation Area in 1980. All buildings are still extant and appear to have retained their residential use.
