Description
A view of the front elevation of a grand terraced house at 37 Fitzroy Square, Fitzrovia. The houses have four storeys over a basement and are of Portland stone. Number 37, later destroyed by World War II bombing, was rebuilt but without the massive urn over the doorway. Designed by Robert and James Adam and dating from 1792-98, numbers 33-40 Fitzroy Square and their railings were Grade I listed in 1954; listing number 1112997.
