Description
View across Euston Square Gardens, and the Grade II listed entry 1342039 railings surrounding them, looking south from Eversholt Street towards the buildings on Euston Road. The former Nettlefold House can be seen to the left, on the corner of Upper Woburn Place, part occupied by a branch of Barclay's Bank (now a restaurant) along with the arched entrance to the remainder of Nettlefold House, to the rear of the bank at number 163. The former post office is at 165 and 167 to the right, partially obscured by trees. Traffic queuing at the junction includes a Ford Cortina Mark III, behind several other cars, with a Paul Allen Farm Produce Bedford TK lorry, travelling in the opposite direction. Several pedestrians can be seen on Euston Square including a young woman dressed in strapped wedge-soled sandals, and a group in discussion on the corner.
