Description
View of the playground and gardener's hut in Euston Square Gardens, and the Grade II listed entry 1342039 railings surrounding them, looking east from the corner of Euston Grove in the former Metropolitan Borough of St Pancras. The Grade I listed entry 1379062 Church of St Pancras is visible across the gardens on the corner of Euston Road and Upper Woburn Place, with a post office, a branch of Barclay's Bank, and former showroom and headquarters of Messrs Nettlefold and Co. (latterly GKN), to the right on the opposite corner, partially obscured by the trees. The Grade II listed entry 1342039 Euston Fire Station is visible on the left, along with blocks of four-storey flats with Evergreen House multi-storey office building, seen under construction, behind. An Austin FX4 taxi cab is visible travelling west on Euston Square on the one-way system for Euston Station, with heavy traffic on Euston Road in the background.
