House in Doughty Street
Description
A view of the rear elevation of a terraced Georgian house at 11 Doughty Street, Holborn. The five-storey house is undergoing rebuilding at the rear, which has resulted in a pile of rubble. Part of the low rear extension has been demolished and unfinished wall ends exposed. The house also has a two-storey rear extension. It is two windows wide and one of the upper windows to the left is especially deep. Built in the late eighteenth to early nineteenth centuries, numbers 1-19 Doughty Street and their railings were Grade II listed in 1974, listing number 1271987.
