Description
A view of the front elevations of terraced houses, which are mostly hotels, at 12-36 (even) Argyle Street, King's Cross. Number 32 is scaffolded and two men stand on the pavement outside. A full skip sits at the kerb and a Ford Escort van is parked outside. Hotels include the Globe, Helens, Adelphi, Rees and the Central. A few other parked vehicles are visible. The building to the right is Camden Council offices. The street has several recently planted saplings, with supports and wire protection, at the pavement's edge. Built in 1833-39, numbers 12-36 Argyle Street and their railings were listed Grade II in 1974, listing number 1244679.
