Description
A view of the rear elevations of terraced houses at 11-31 Ampton Street, King's Cross. In the foreground is a dustbin and also potting corner, with some plant pots. Nearby is a small flower bed edged with two rows high loose bricks. Some of the walls of the houses are bare brick and some are stucco covered. Some of the windows have clothes drying racks. Built in 1819-23 by Thomas Cubitt, numbers 21-39 (odd) and their railings were listed Grade II in 1971, listing number 1246998. Built by William Cubitt in 1835-9, numbers 11-19 (odd) and their railings were listed Grade II in 1971, listing numbers 1246996 and 1246995.
