Description
Detail of the front elevations of four-storey brick terraces 1-5 Spanish Place, Marylebone. These houses were built c1780-90 and are associated with the Duke of Manchester's development of Manchester Square on land owned by the Viscount Portman. The image shows the support cast iron brackets of the first-floor balconies and the photo was taken on the corner of Manchester Square. 1-5 Spanish Place grade II list entry number: 1236543
