Description
Back elevations of former coach houses of 39-42 Portman Square, Marylebone, in Portman Mews South. The houses on Portman Square were mostly built between 1769 and 1784. At the date of the photograph, the addresses were (right to left) 42 Portman Square, 25 and 26 Portman Mews South. They no longer exist; a twentieth century office building, 40-42 Portman Square, now stands on the site.
