View of terraced James Adam townhouses at 63 and 65 Portland Place, Marylebone, formerly occupied by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, looking west. The four-storey with basements and attic rooms terrace is Grade II* listed, listing number 1227079 (59 to 67), and features rusticated ashlar banding and cast-iron balustrading in front of the first-floor windows. Vehicles parked on meters in front includes a Ford Granada Mark II 2.3L. Number 63 was the former home of writer, Francis Hodgson Burnett (1849 to 1924), with both houses currently the premises of an International school. The neighbouring house, at number 61 on the left, is seen undergoing renovation, with the frontage barricaded with a plywood hoarding.
