Description
Rear and side elevation of 21 Cornwall Terrace, Marylebone. View of roofs and iron fire escape. Cornwall Terrace was the first completed terrace in Nash's Regent's Park Crown Estate development. Constructed between 1821 and 1823 (restored 1980) by the property developer James Burton, to a Greco-Roman design by Decimus Burton and Sir John Nash. Originally consisting of 19 houses, 20 and 21 were constructed later in same style. Grade I listed, entry 1356971.
