Description
View of front elevation of three-storey house at 4 Beaumont Street, Marylebone. With shutters at the windows and iron railings outside. The English historian John Richard Green (1837-83) lived in a house on this site 1869-76. The house was demolished in 1924. LCC plaque was originally erected in 1909 and replaced in 1964. On the left is a sign Hospital Quiet Please, likely to refer to nearby University College Hospital.
