View of front entrance doorways of five-storey terraced townhouses at 19-20 Bentinck Street, Marylebone. Plain stucco surrounds at ground floor. Number 19 has a rounded arch with pillared porch and fanlight, and iron railings. Richard John Bingham, 7th Earl of Lucan ‘Lord Lucan’ was born at number 19 on 18 December 1934. Known for his alleged involvement in the murder of his children's nanny Sarah Rivett and the attack on his wife Lady Veronica Duncan, he disappeared after being suspected of murder on 8 November 1974 and was declared dead on 3 February 2016.
