View of the front elevation of mid-nineteenth-century Gothic style terraced house at 1 Wellington Way, Bow. Used as Poplar Chest Clinic (formerly known as the Borough of Poplar Tuberculosis Dispensary). A sign for the Poplar Chest Clinic is attached to the gate with an additional notification that the building was being transformed into a 'Child Guidance Centre'. An additional sign reads 'No Parking Doctors Entrance'. Adjacent is the two-storey London Borough of Tower Hamlets Health Department Clinic Centre at 1a Wellington Way built in the 1930s. The clinic at number 1a later became the Wellington Way Health Centre. The clinic became a local health centre and number 1 was used as housing. It is Grade II listed; listing number 1065815.
