Description
View of front elevations of three-storey Victorian Gothic terraced houses at 1-5 Wellington Way, Bow. They are Grade II listed; listing numbers 1065815, 1260047 and 1357507. Number 1 was once used as Poplar Chest Clinic (formerly known as the Borough of Poplar Tuberculosis Dispensary). On the far left is a part of the front of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Health Department Clinic Centre at 1a Wellington Way. Built in the 1930s, it later became the Wellington Way Health Centre. A sign lists the various clinics operating from the building such as the Ante-Natal Clinic and Dental Clinic. The clinic later became a local health centre. Parked cars.
