Description
Front elevation of 28-29 Acacia Road, St John's Wood. The road runs north east from Finchley Road to Avenue Road. Laid out in the early-nineteenth century on land owned by the Duke of Portland and by Henry Samuel Eyre. Number 29 is a two-storey detached house with semi-basement and attic. Triangular pediments above the first-floor windows and a projecting porch with Ionic pillars. Number 28 is a two-storey semi-detached house with semi-basement, and a side extension with a projecting garage. Urns decorate the steps to the entrance.
