Title
Houses in Old Ford Road
Description
Front elevation of derelict terraced houses at 495 Old Ford Road (this section renamed Wick Lane), Poplar, looking north-east. On the right, number 497, the Clay Hall Tavern has already been demolished and the vacant site is protected by corrugated iron. Number 493 on the left, previously a turf accountant, is boarded up with corrugated iron and has broken windows. Number 495 shows signs of having been a former shop with a large boarded up window and in the window a slate board incorrectly identifies this as "491 F". These buildings no longer exist and area is currently a small area of trees and grass beside the A12.
