Description
Numbers 19 and 20 Franklin Street, Poplar. Two-storey terraced houses with sash windows with ornate surrounds. There is a woman, hand on hip in the doorway of number 19. These houses were destroyed during World War II and prefabricated housing, part of 'Doodle Bug Village' was constructed on the site, which has since been replaced with newer housing.
