Bakery in Chrisp Street
A view of John Miller's bakery at 46 Chrisp Street, Poplar, with a derelict, vacant site next door. Behind the low brick wall can be seen the remnants of a building no longer there. White glazed wall tiles with three large rectangular "frames" picked out in black are still visible on the lower floor; fan-shaped patterns decorate the plaster above. Two posters have been pasted on to the tiles; one refers to street trading regulations. The buildings no longer exist; the site is now occupied by a car park.
