Title
House in Westbourne Terrace
Description
A view of the side elevation of the Gloucester Hotel in an end-terrace house at 136 Westbourne Terrace, Paddington. The building has four storeys plus basement and attic and is three windows wide with the right-hand bay standing well forward of the rest. The door sits under a portico, which stands on Doric columns. Railings surround the basement area and another runs along the first-floor serving balconies and the top of the portico. The house appears empty and paint is peeling from the facade. Dating from the 1840s and probably by William King and William Kingdom, numbers 108-136 (even) Westbourne Terrace were Grade II listed in 1970; listing number 1066128.
