An elevated view of the rear elevations of early Victorian terraced houses at 9-17 (odd) Westbourne Terrace, Paddington. The houses have four storeys plus attic and basement and are three windows wide. Extensions means the houses offer a variety of heights. On the skyline, the spire is that of St James's Church, Sussex Gardens and the tower block is the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Bayswater Road. Dating from the 1840s and probably by William King and William Kingdom, numbers 1-31 (odd) Westbourne Terrace as well as 196b and c Craven Road were Grade II listed in 1970; listing number 1066125.
