28-18 Westbourne Grove, Paddington. Number 26 was built in 1861 by architect Arthur Billing as as an extension of the Bayswater Athenaeum; it has also been used as an auction house and a dancing school. In recent times it has housed a bookshop on the ground floor and offices above. It is Grade II listed; list entry number 1066120. Numbers 18-24 have been demolished. The new building has a shop at ground-floor level, offices on upper floors and a residential part called Tennyson House at 1A Westbourne Grove Terrace.
