A view of 44 Chrisp Street, Poplar, showing the derelict Home & Colonial store on the corner with Tetley Street. The former grocery shop, once part of a major UK food chain, still retains its trademark leaded 'bottle-glass' transom lights above the display windows and door. Timber boards cover the window displays and the door, as well as the fascia above. Two upper floor sash windows have iron bars on them. A partially drawn awning is visible on the right and there are glazed tiles underneath the display windows. A truck can also be seen parked on the right in Tetley Street. The building no longer exists and the site is now a car park.
