Description
Front elevation of 41-46 Gloucester Square, Bayswater. Gloucester Square was the last part of the Bishop of London-owned Hyde Park Estate to be built. Planned by George Gulch, this terrace (now numbers 44-49), was built by George Ledwell Taylor. With four storeys, basement and an attic storey. Projecting Doric porch with continuous cast-iron balcony to the first floor with casement windows. Numbers 41-43 have cast-iron guards to the first- and second-floor windows. Numbers 41 and 44 have Corinthian pilasters through the first to third floors. The terrace is Grade II listed, number 1066756. Three cars are parked on the street, one a Mini.
