Description
Front elevation of 41-46 Gloucester Square, Bayswater. Gloucester Square was the last part of the Bishop of London-owned Hyde Park Estate to be built. Planned by George Gulch this terrace (now numbers 44-49), was built by George Ledwell Taylor. Four storeys with basement and an attic storey. Projecting Doric porch with continuous case iron balcony to the first-floor with casement windows. Numbers 41-43 with cast-iron guards to the first- and second-floor windows. Numbers 41 and 43 with Corinthian pilaster through first to third floor. The terrace is Grade II listed, number 1066756. In the street are parked four cars including a Volkswagen Beetle, a Morris Minor, and a Mini.
