View from Onslow Square looking west towards the National Provincial Bank on the corner of Harrington Road, South Kensington. The entrance to South Kensington underground station (Grade II listed; listing number 1392067) on Pelham Street is in view, designed by Leslie Green in 1907. A newspaper seller is standing at the entrance, with his pile of newspapers on the floor; and a typewriter shop is to the left of the entrance. The Norfolk Hotel on Harrington Street is in the background to the left and the two spires of the Natural History Museum on Cromwell Road can be seen in the distance above the station. A similar view can be seen on image number 85746. Several pedestrians are in view, most wearing hats, including those using a zebra crossing with Belisha Beacons and tall, ornate lampposts.
