Description
A view of doorways at 30-31 Great James Street, Holborn. Panelled doors, one with enriched carved brackets carrying a hood and with patterned radial fanlight and Victorian tiles on the steps, one without a hood and worn plain steps. Iron railings are seen with finials on corners. Doorbells and a sign are by the doors, a door knocker and a letterbox are also visible. Arched windows with red brick surrounds and the doorway to number 29 can also be seen. As of 2017 a matching hood has been added to number 30. Grade II listed, they are part of fourteen terraced houses built in 1720-24.
