Description
A general view of four-storey buildings at 25-40 Great James Street, Holborn, as seen from number 40, in variously coloured brick. Red brick arches to windows. Panelled doors can be seen and most doors have enriched carved brackets carrying hoods and patterned radial fanlights. Number 40 has a To Let sign on the railings from Manners Hearne and Manners. Between the houses are lead rainwater heads and lead pipes. Iron railings are seen by the basement with finials on corners. A motorcycle with sidecar is parked on the road and people can be seen walking on the pavement. Grade II listed, all the fourteen terraced houses were built in 1720-24.
