Description
A view of a doorway at 5 Great James Street, Holborn, showing a light-coloured panelled door with enriched carved brackets carrying a hood and with a fanlight incorporating a square lamp. Doorbells for four addresses sit to the right of the panelled door which has three letterboxes and a door knocker featuring a lion's head. The Sewing Machine Dealers' Association Ltd was one of the occupants. Iron railings are seen with finials on corners and Victorian tiles on the top step. Grade II listed, it is one of fourteen terraced houses built in 1720-24.
