Description
View of first-floor rear room of house at 20 Dombey Street, Holborn. Room is set up as a bedsit with some original fittings still intact such as the lamp by the mirror, the cornice and wall panels around the casement window. Blouse on hanger on lamp, ironing board leaning against the wall, gas fire, clutter on mantlepiece, narrow doorway through to adjoining room or cupboard with shelves of pans and containers and empty cardboard box for Bacardi bottles; mirror above cupboard, chair, table, plate.
