Description
A view of the front of 9 Denmark Street, Holborn, which is occupied by La Gioconda coffee bar, Gentlemen's Hairdressing Salon and Central Sound Recording Studio Limited. This terraced house was built in the late seventeenth century as part of the development of Denmark Street between 1686 and 1691 by Samuel Fortrey and Jacques Wiseman. 8 and 10 Denmark Street are just visible.
