Description
An interior view of 12 Bloomsbury Square, Holborn, office of Sir Nikolaus Pevsner, author of the 'Buildings of England' series, showing a first-floor rear room. There are tables and drafting boards covered with architects plans and an adjustable triangle, Rank Xerox paper boxes with large full envelopes standing up. A rotary telephone and shelving can be seen. On the walls there are planners, a poster of a car and a London Underground tube map. Plain coving around the ceiling edge. A Grade II listed building. As of 2019 it is used as a training centre, at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
