A view of 5-6 Bloomsbury Square, Holborn. Grade II listed. Three-storey brick buildings with dormers at the roof level. Large chimneys. An ornate stone plaque can be seen which commemorates Isaac D'Israeli (1766-1848), a British writer, scholar and man of letters, and the father of Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, who lived here 1817 to 1829. In the first decade of the 2000s the building was taken over by Pushkin House, a venue for Russian culture and research with five rooms for hire. Number 7 can also be seen with ornate balustrade by first-floor windows. A car is parked, a woman walking and buildings in Bloomsbury Way are seen in the background.
