Description
View of weavers' houses at 82-88 Sclater Street, Bethnal Green seen from Cygnet Street. Wide windows allowed light into the buildings to assist with weaving. On the ground floor various shopkeepers' trades appear on the shop signs with one, a Mr. Neil Kemp proclaiming to be the largest pineapple retailer in England at number 88. These buildings no longer exist and are presently used as a car park.
