Description
View of 1-2 Laurence Pountney Hill, City of London, built by the master builder and carpenter Thomas Denning in 1703 in the Queen Anne style. Dixon and Co. Ltd occupy number 1, and a black and white bollard can be seen in a corner niche of the building. The pair of houses at 1-2 Laurence Pountney Hill were Grade II* listed in 1950; List Entry Number: 1359204. Off to the right is Suffolk Lane. The neo-Gothic Suffolk house designed by R.B.March in the 1880s can be seen in the distance with turret and cross prominent; it was demolished in 1994.
