Description
The original entrance to Lloyds of London in neo-classical style at 12 Leadenhall Street, City of London. The crowning pediment of the entrance features a sculpture by Charles Dorman. Sign for the Ship and Turtle Public house sits to the left of the image. A sign from Midlands Bank pokes out on the nearside of the street. A number of pedestrians walk by. This 1928 building, designed by Edwin Cooper, was built on the site of the old East India House. Only the facade now remains of Cooper's building.
